At Northwestern University

The PADlab is directed by Jennifer Tackett, a clinical psychologist at Northwestern University

The PADlab studies how child and adolescent personality relates to behavior and affects relationships with friends and parents, as well as how early personality traits may be indicators of later common behavioral problems. We also focus on understanding psychopathology in childhood and adolescence, including physical and relational aggression, delinquency, personality disorder, and addiction. The lab is currently conducting multiple studies to examine adolescent decision making and how personality informs academic outcomes.
